Helping the child to learn the shape of each letter and the sound it makes, to build reading and writing skills.
Trinomial Cube
Working with an algebraic formula in physical form, helping the child to build on pattern, numeracy, logic and concentration. Also just a lot of fun!
Number work
A table top version of a larger work, children can use this to count and recognise the corresponding number, but also for addition and number building.

Preparing Food
Children love preparing food, and sharing it with their friends. Learning to use tools, taking care of themselves and others. Boosts confidence and self esteem.
Dressing – Buttons
Another self care task, children learn to open and close buttons. This practical skill also helps with fine motor control and concentration. Like all the practical life work it gives children a sense of their own agency.
Dressing – Buckles
Not an everyday hurdle for modern children, but this practical life skill has a great lesson in logic and sequence alongside fine motor skills. Also a boost for self esteem as its not an easy one to master for little hands!

Pink Tower & Brown Stair
Materials that help children learn about size and dimension. They can be combined to make structures, patterns and observe physics in real life.
Continents puzzle
Children are naturally curious about the world around them. This activity is an extension of the globes, once the child can remove and replace each named continent, they can trace them and begin to make their own.
Colour Identification
An advanced work from the colour tablets where children recognise, pair and name colours. This child has taken the tablets and found corresponding coloured items in the classroom. Developing perception, identification, sorting and discernment all vital for budding scientists.
Art & Craft

Painting at the easel
A wonderful creative activity in its own right, expressing and exploring colours. Painting at the easel is also fantastic to strengthen the arm and shoulder muscles needed to use a pencil and develop handwriting.
Threading and Sewing
Creative and fun, this is a lovely activity to develop concentration, fine motor skills and the practical art of sewing.
Crafting objects
We regularly have projects children can create to take home. These projects use many skills and allow the children to share with each other, take turns and bring something back home to be proud of.
